Woodburning. A continuing side passion project that I often do in the late hours of the night when all is quiet and I'm silently praying the smoke alarm won't go off.

I mainly woodburn on reclaimed wood. I think it lends itself well to working alongside nature and all her wonderful unpredictability. The first piece I ever woodburned on was from a dead Hickory tree in my parents' backyard that we sliced up for my wedding. The rough quality of the slab made for hard work. I loved every minute of it.
